Background
The 50 MW Sachal Wind Power Project, located in Jhimpir, Thatta, Sindh, is one of Pakistan’s pioneering large-scale renewable energy projects. In 2012, a bankable feasibility study was conducted in collaboration with Sgurr Energy, Glasgow, Scotland, which laid the foundation for its construction and successful commissioning.
Scope of Work
Conducted complete bankable feasibility study for the project.
Provided design reviews of electrical and civil works.
Currently managing Balance of Plant (BOP) and Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) operations and maintenance (O&M).
Ensuring efficient energy generation, safety, and reliability of the plant.
Impact
Contributed 50 MW of clean energy to Pakistan’s national grid.
Reduced reliance on imported fossil fuels.
Created employment opportunities in Sindh’s renewable sector.
Enhanced Pakistan’s global standing in renewable energy development.
